Best Offline Drag n Drop Website Builder

In search of the best offline drag n drop website builder, we tried out several software. Here’s a brief breakdown of our results:

Namu6: Complicated confusing UI, looks old/dated, buggy, free

CuzYa Free Website Builder v1:  limited customization, confusing UI/UX, adds “powered by CuzYa”, looks old/dated, free

EZ SiteMaker:  limited customization, confusing UI/UX, looks old/dated, free

BlueVoda Website Builder: a WYSIWYG drag and drop editor, looks and works fine, no templates, server publishing only / no desktop publishing, free

NetObjects Fusion Essentials: good/ok, ok level of customization, easy to use, many features, templates, looks bit dated/old, free

WebDwarf:  a WYSIWYG drag and drop editor, no templates, looks old/dated, very limited functionality, free

Seahorse: good, good level of customization, easy to use, many features, templates, looks good, free

Website Realizer: WYSIWYG, too complicated, more similar to html editors, not easy to use, looks good, no easy gallery, not free

Quick n Easy Web Builder: best WYSIWYG drag and drop editor, very easy to use, total customizable functionality, templates look old, not free

Web Easy Professional 7: bit complicated, not easy to use, has old dated templates, not free

Sitoo Web: bit too complicated, hard to use, has templates, looks good, WYSIWYG, not free

WebSite X5 Evolution Demo 10:  good, easy to use, many features, templates, looks good, not free

Serif WebPlus Starter Edition: good, easy to use, has many functionalities, looks good, not free

Artisteer: powerful, multifunctional, easy to use, looks good, no forms wizard, not free

Jimdo: perfect but not offline. It’s easy to use, highly customizable, has lots of features, looks great.

Verdict: Although it’s not an offline tool but an online one, the best free drag n drop website builder would have to be Jimdo. If we had to choose the best offline drag n drop website builder it would have to be either WebSite X5 Evolution, Artisteer, or Quick n Easy Web Builder even though they’re all slightly limited and dated. It’s a tie. However, those 3 are not free, so the best free offline drag n drop website builder would have to be Seahorse who’s also slightly limited and dated. We would recommend going for Jimdo.
